  • A project for 17 – 24s suffering from social isolation and/or common mental health issues such as anxiety and depression
  • Socially inclusive group activities

Eligibility

  • Participants must be 17 – 24 and self-identify as having a common mental health problem, or suffer with social isolation. We take a broad definition of isolation to mean more than just lack of contact with others. We understand that some people can feel isolated even when they have daily contact with other people.

Hours and Duration

Office Hours 9am – 5pm.

However, we can be flexible with meeting times and sessions.

  • Courses range from accredited IT, Child Care, Adult Social Care to Dance and Art.
  • The people we support range from long term unemployed, people with special needs, people in social isolation, new communities and anyone who would benefit from our services.
  • The courses are run from our Learning Centre at 51 Gold street Kettering (behind the Fuller Church)

A new online portal promoting volunteer opportunities available within LibraryPlus, Northamptonshire County Council and other volunteer-based organisations around the county. All NCC volunteers qualify for 10 hours of free adult learning.
